-
burn candle on heat resistant surfaces only
-
do not allow any dust, debris, wick trimmings or any other materials to collect in the wax by keeping your lid on when not in use and removing all wick trimmings from the vessel
-
do not place your candle in a draft filled area such as a hallway, near a window or by a fireplace
What can i do if my candle is tunnelling?
Candle tunnelling happens when a candle burns down its centre, leaving a ring of hard wax around the outside. This usually happens when the candle is burned for less than 2 hours, but it shouldn't last with Fishskin Fire candles.
When burned correctly, all the wax will burn down except for a very small amount at the very bottom.
If your candle is tunnelling, we want to know!
Please send us a picture and detail your candle burning routine so we can help you out!
what are you doing to be eco friendly?
Making our carbon footprint as small as possible is really important to us, we use renewable coconut soy wax and local beeswax, all our candle packaging is fully recyclable and reusable and all of our materials come from within Canada, primarily Western Canada, so they aren't being shipped internationally to us. Our printing, labelling, pouring and packaging all happens in house.
Literally. It happens in our houses.
We recycle and reuse the packing material we receive from our suppliers in our own shipping and use plant based packing peanuts.
